Research for medical students
Our section is intensively involved in the preclinical and clinical training of medical students at TUM and LMU.
We offer the following courses:
Preclinical course (Preclinical LMU)
Interdisciplinary lecture series 2.3
Bedside course (2nd clinical year)
Elective subject: Sports Medicine (in cooperation with the Center for Prevention and Sports Medicine at TUM) (2nd clinical year)
Block internship in surgery including examination course of individual joints (3rd clinical year)
Surgery Seminar (3rd clinical year)
Doctoral Colloquium (for doctoral students in the Department of Sports Orthopaedics and interested medical students/potential doctoral students)
In addition, several physicians from the Sports Orthopedics Section participate in the mentoring program of the TUM Medical Faculty.
