Doctoral theses

Promotion procedure in the section of sports orthopedics

The topics covered by a doctoral thesis in the Department of Sports Orthopedics are diverse. Our doctoral thesis topics include clinical studies, biomechanical investigations, and preclinical basic research projects related to the musculoskeletal system. These projects typically span a period of two to three years.

In order to be considered for a topic, the conditions are the submission of a curriculum vitae (CV) and a clinical internship.

In addition, regardless of our framework conditions, the regulations and requirements of the TUM Medical Graduate Center Before submitting an inquiry, please inform us about the scope and the resulting Obligations to independently and conscientiously check for feasibility.

Furthermore, an internship with us gives you the opportunity to get to know our department and determine for yourself whether you would like to continue to participate in our clinical and scientific work. If this is your desire, we would be happy to find an interesting project for you in one of our research groups.
